Wendell Charles was formed in 2011 and named for our founder’s (Evan Kirkpatrick) grandfather, Wendell Charles Kirkpatrick. It began as one financial advisor from his bedroom with no clients and has now served over 1,000 clients in over 25 states through our Wealth Management, Tax, and Insurance companies. Our office HQ is located in Davenport, Iowa with an additional office in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Wendell was a 40+ year physician, investor, philanthropist, and family patriarch over the course of his 97 years. He was married to wife, Mickey, for 73 years and embodied the American Dream from service in the Navy during World War II to building his own business, buying and selling apartment complexes, and building his dream Lake House property for retirement.
Our goal with the Wendell Charles family of companies is to help more people reach the same heights as WCK did through our financial planning process and services. We believe that if we help more good people make smart financial decisions, they can be a positive force for their families, communities, and beyond. That is our mission and our passion.
